Kim and Johnny were such a wonderful couple. Loving life and one another, it was really easy to capture special moments. Lots of Love and Peace.

For the last few years I have traveled to Venice to photograph carnival. This year I was unable to go and I miss it. Carnival is a photographers paradise. Grandiose costumes wonderful people and great food really set the stage for great photographic possibilities. Normally, I travel with two cameras, a 1957 rolleiflex and a digital camera. Although, the costumes are usually very vivid, my camera of choice is the rolleiflex loaded with black and white film. Something about the waist level finder and monochrome film, I feel allows me to capture timeless moments.
Carnival in Venice opens the doors to meet special people. It is common to take a portrait in a crowd of thousands and run into that very same person the next year. What makes this ironic is the fact the interaction between me and the person last only seconds and yet we connect a year later...MAGICAL. I want to share with you a few of my favorite images from Carnivals past. Enjoy.
What a pleasure to shoot anniversary photos for my good friends Humberto and Lise. I shot their wedding a few years ago on beautiful St. John VI. They are so much fun. A great couple. It is so funny how this shoot ended up mainly a shoot of Lise. The camera really really likes her.
I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all my very best. There are many great things happening now and I am very excited about 2009. Some exciting changes for LLP that I will be sharing later in the year.
A really beautiful album coming soon. Can't wait to share. I can not express enough how blessed I am to be able to shoot amazing couples like Sabrina and Michael. It's like they could read each others mind. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day.
What a fun session, just a few more days and it would not have happened. Congratulations Ana and Alex on their new baby girl.
